So i have not updated for a long time so here is the motherload. Last week we were in utah for the whole week! it was wonderful and so relaxing! the best way to start our summer 7 week break! thank you mitch and kristen for allowing us there and to brent and nina for having us over to swim and seeing tyler's awesome game! we realized that we are heat wimps as we were absolutely dying in the heat!! The highlights were being with family, ikea, cabella's and visiting my companera, Miss Matha! We also had a jane austen lalapalooza and watched 3 films! i am so proud of my bradley for watching them and wanting to know the story! he is now cultured! We returned home and stopped in blackfoot to see my old roommate miranda's wedding. She looked beautiful and it was good to see her and her husband.

When we came home there were tons of cars in teh driveway and Mildred had passed away last friday. She was in the nursing home and her granddaughter was passing through and was with her. I am so glad that she wasnt alone, she was with family and she can be with Ralph her husband, and her son Brad again. The funeral was today and it was great to hear her stories. She has left quite a legacy. Her one son who wrote the letter has been very nice. They have mentioned that we can stay but we know they have so much to sort through and for the time being everything is okay with our living situation.

Hunter had his 15 month checkup and is in the 88 percentile in height!! how that happened we dont know! he has grown 3 inches in the last 3 months! he is constantly looking for a way to rip off his diaper and be naked! he LOVES outside. we could be outside for hours and wouls still cry when having to come in.

We went to the folkdance street festival on monday and it was tons of fun. hunter danced a little withthe drums from the CHina group. They close down mainstreet and it is different countries performing their dances and a parade. it is the best! i love the family community of rexburg!

I woke up this morning and i couldnt even open my eyes in the dark because they were so sensitive to light. i have to wear sunglasses and my eye is ugly and red! It is getting less sensitve to light but is still awful! Welcome home bubba, see my hideous eye!

Well we are on our way out the door to meet at the airport to welcome home my brother in law from his mission!! we are all so excited!!
Even though i am out of school, this week has still been busy. But it is so nice not to have to worry about a project, test etc!!

Hunter's first hair cut!

We cut off hunter's little curl in the back, or as we called it his mullet. Also a bit off the top was trimmed. Brad's cousin Jessie did it while lacey held hunter. He was interested to see what was going on but i think he did great. i kept his hair in a little plastic bag, Brad's request because he wasnt there to see it happen. he was boating with his brothers, as he should be. he looks so handsome, but i keep reaching back to play with that curl that isnt there anymore. maybe it will grow back.

Sigh of relief

So this week has been a week of hell. I have gone to bed every night with a migraine and i look and feel 10 years older. thank goodness for sisters, my mom and dear mother in law for their phone calls of love and encouragement. I finished my last final today by 4 pm and then i went to sell back my math book. the graduation banquet was getting ready to start as i was in the MC and i just thought that the next finals week i go through i will be graduating. That made me feel really good, i felt some sort of accomplishment for surviving this week with all the added stress, not just the finals and lack of time, but life. Next semester is my last one. i am so relieved to have the fall off and even more eager to graduating and facing the next semester. But i definately need this time off, For sure!
Although i didnt feel this way about noon today. i was a walking zombie, no joke! my brain completely shut off i even left my back pack in the testing room and had to go back and get it after i was at my car!! I was laughing and in tears because i was so tired. It didnt help that Hunter didnt sleep at all last night. But i saw later that that was a good thing because he took a 3 hour nap and i was able to take a deep, wonderful 1 hour nap today. That and the dr. pepper rejuvinated me.
So all that is left now is to plan sharing time for sunday and then it is off to Utah. We get to be with my brothers and their families there and we can't wait.

We went to Celeste Adams' home in Shelley where in the back yard they have a HUGE waterslide and pool. Hunter LOVED the pool, slide, food and dogs. He went down the slide with brad three times!!! he are pictures of the fun time

Sweet Boy

Hunter is a sweetie pie! he is definately busy and likes to explore as well. But i love his natural sweetness that comes out when he is around babies. he changes his voice to a soft high pitch when he is touching his cousing olivia and all babies. Also when it is time for bed i push play on the cd player and then he just folds into me with his head on my neck and pats my back as we sway back and forth for a while. he has also started showing affection for his stuffed animals. He does that same high pitch soft voice and will kiss them and hug them! he will be a great big brother some day.

Help

Please pray that we will find a place to live. we received a letter that they arent happy with us etc.. and i found out by calling the daughter in law that they have already found someone to live here. they werent going to tell us until august. i am so glad i found out because we have to find a place to live! this just isnt a good week. i have finals and now this. i am probably pmsing too! i am very sad and hurt by how this ended, to be accused of only caring about the money and not midlred is so hurtful when it is not true.
So please fast and pray for us as we are now in the depths of despair, poor and homeless.

update

Well i only have next week left of school. This week has been busy and hard without kaitlyn. i relearned that homework is impossible when Hunter is awake as he erased a paper i was working on. But that's okay.

Last night we went with Berret and Tanya to a dance out on one of the fields. they had a slip n slide which we avoided and beach balls, music and frisbees. i had an enjoyable time, i think brad liked the frisby and free soda. hunter loved running around and going up to girls dancing. it was fun to watch him. we danced as a family to the slow songs. it was nice to do something different.

Hunter has one molar on one side that has come through and on the other side it is making its way. i can't believe this! is it normal to have molars? i dont think so.

today we have a big group going to float the teton river. we have a HUGE tube with a trampoline matt int eh middle, it even has a ladder to climb back up on! then we have all our inner tubes and even a little raft. it will be great! i will try and take picture.

Hunter's Suit

How cute is Hunter in his suit? he got this for his birthday and today was the first time he wore it. Oh he is handsome. But he is getting older and that is kind of sad to me. He is really growing up and looking old. But he is too fun!

4th of July Weekend

We had a great weekend. So much fun and so relaxing. As sad as it is that Mildred is in the nursing home, it really was a real holiday for us because we didnt have to stay home. so we took advantage of that. Friday we went to the parade in the morning with our dear friends, zak, sam, tanya and berret. After that we went and floated down the river. SO MUCH FUN! we got hunter a swimsuit with floaties in there. he loved that. when we put it on he ran around laughing. on the river however he looked like a turtle with his head in his shell. That night we went to Idaho Falls for the fireworks. A good 4th. The next day i was sooo tired that i slept in until 10:30! i havent done that for a long time. Brad was kind enough to watch hunter for me and he just let me sleep.
Saturday we did go and see mildred in the nursing home. SHe looks good but is very shaky. she was happy for the company and to see hunter who ran around her room playing with EVERYTHING but he didnt get into anything he shouldnt have.

Brad's Project

Brad works in the community with a 23 year old and the have been working on alot of projects. here is one of them. i think it turned out really well, what do you think?

update

I have gone patriotic for the month. SO that is why my blog is so festive. I think its pretty fun.

We have been to the wonderful spray park a couple of times. today was the longest we were there and Hunter really got into the water. he would just walk up to the spraying things and get in and let it spray his face etc. I am happy that i have a water baby. And Hunter the ladies man is not only happy about the water, but also the college sun bathers. Today he walked up to three girls suntanning and just started talking to them and flirting!! oh he is funny!

well there is much to update on. Mildred is in the nursing home getting physical therapy for the month. she had a heart attack and has an anyerism (sp?) and so she is there. The story is long so i will spare you. I have gone to visit her and she is always so tired from her pt. We just hope that whatever is best for her will take place, and that somehow we can continue to live here. For now we are here another month, and it is kind of a vacation because she isnt here and we arent obligated to stay home now. So this weekend we will really be enjoying our holiday, other than the homework.

i only have 2 weeks left which i am thrilled about. i am so excited to just focus on being a momma for the fall. I just hope i survive the next few weeks and make it to that point. Alot of assignments etc. it will be fine, just hectic. And kaitlyn leaves monday which i am totally bummed about. it has been so much fun to have her here and to have someone from my family close. i am all alone in idaho. Thank goodness for zak, sam, berret, and tanya!!!!!

So tonight i went to the temple with two old roommates who have been home from their missions for 2 months. it was so good to go to the temple and to be with them. it was a lot of fun. i love the temple! Bethany (one of them) will be watching Hunter the last few days while i finish up and since kaitlyn goes home. Such a blessing!! and hunter will love the house full of girls that she lives in.

Well have a happy fourth! we are going to the parade for the first time ever, going to try to float the river and watch the fireworks in I.F. that night!! WOO HOO!!
