10 weeks left!

Left of what you might ask? this insane semester!! I am just on survival mode right now. i just have to survive and i will make it! i hope i will make it with my sanity intact but some might question if it ever was.
Monday morning Hunter drank liquid laundry detergent, poison control said he had to be watched so poor brad had to stay home because i was lead teaching in the preschool. Our kitchen sink is clogged. 3 things of drano has done nothing! gross! And today i had hunter all ready and he threw up! so i had to miss class this morning because who else would watch him last minute and barfing? I just feel like i'm just trying to make it! 10 weeks left and going to school will never be a part of the chaos again!! PLUS i will have an actual degree! so its not like i am just quiting and never having to worry about school again. i know it will feel SOOOO good in 10 weeks! I am not sleeping well as i am uncomfortable with "false labor" at night and i feel like a zombie each day. Preparing to be a mother of two i suppose!
i really am enjoying the things i learn in my classes and i know it is sooooo beneficial.
Hunter is talking more and more. He got his hair cut and now looks sooo old! it breaks my heart! in 3 months he will be 2 years old! i have no idea how that happened! he is my little buddy and we just laugh and laugh. he talks to "baby" by blowing raspberries on my belly. we laugh so hard and brad thinks we are crazy, well we are.
I just finished a 5 page lesson plan and drank some dr. pepper to do so. now i will study for a test and then go to bed.
tomorrow i have a dr's appoitment and i get to drink that glucose stuff! UGH!

Tears, pain killers and novacaine

Thanks to the idaho smiles program i was able to go to the dentist last week. After not having the luxury of going to the dentist for 4.5 years, i only had 2 cavities!! it felt soooo good to have my teeth clean! so they scheduled me to get my fillings next wednesday. However, one tooth has been increasingly killing me and last night it was UNBEARABLE!!! Being prego, all i had to take was tylenol which did a but load of NOTHING!! and ambisol only worked for an hour at the most. I was able to sleep from 12-1 am and there rest of the time i was trying not to pull my hair out and just crying it hurt soooo bad. i told brad it was worse than labor because quite honestly it was!! So i ended up takin myself to the ER to get some pain meds. they gave me some and i finally fell asleep at 5 am. I called the dentist at 8:15 am and they said to come on in. HALLELUJAH!! i guess they got really close to the nerve and the novacaine has worn off and it is sore, but NOTHING like last night. Tylenol gives relief a bit.

Again i have the best mother in law. She came today to be with Hunter boy so it worked out perfectly. I was able to go get drilled and then i could run errands that would be very difficult with hunter. meanwhile hunter got to stay home and be with gramma and have so much fun.
now i plan on taking a hot bath, folding laundry , taking some meds and sleeping forever!!

p.s. i am very jealous of my siblings in cali with 70 degree weather!!

Mission call

Jocey Got her Mission call!!! this is my oldest niece who is only 6 years younger than i am. She is my little sister and i miss her not being here anymore. Especially since she will be going to San Juan Puerto Rico!!! this is brad's mission, well half of it anyway. She is going east, so half of what the area was when brad was there. We are just so thrilled for her! i know she will be freakin' awesome and her glow will be a beacon to investigators, and maybe some creepy men too! (it has to happen to every hermana, sorry Jocey!) She will be an amazing sister missionary!

Freeze dance

This is a video from new year's eve, the kiddos were playing freeze dance. it was while he was dancing that he started JUMPING!! So now he can jump with both feet getting off the ground. I love watching all the kiddos dance. I wish i had a clip of Chase doing his robot, it is too funny. Notice Jerica in her beautiful dress. Too fun!

AHHHHH

So let's see. After seeing Tanya and Berret at the hospital i couldnt even make it out of the hospital without having to go to the bathroom. SO we find one and i totally drop our camera in the toilet!!! so there will be no pictures on the blog for sometime, which is LAME i know.

School started last wednesday and i havent even been going for a week yet and already my brain is fried. i take Hunter to this babysitter at one time and then to another etc etc. But i am so thankful for those who are watching him. Hunter is very happy when he is there, at all places. So today i am running out the door to make it to the babysitter and class on time. I am late to class and it was VERY overwhelming. it is the toddler lab, where i am a teacher in the toddler preschool. lots of work. And right after that i have another class. i walk out of my class listening to a message froom brad, "uh honey i dont know if you meant to, but you left the stove on and whatever was in it totally burned and our house smells like smoke" here i was, trying to be good and put the pot on with everything in it so brad would just have to start it up while i was in class. i guess i turned it on and left it on!! so i drive into the garage and it reaks!! our house reaks therefore we reak. i had so much time to say hello to my boys, grab something to eat and then it was off to class again from 5:30-6:30. i totally stunk and was self conscious about it. I fear for what i subconsciously do next. I have locked the keys in the car many times before in circumatances like this. that wont happen though because we have a spare key hidden for when i DO do that.

I know i am overwhelmed right now, but i also know my classes will be very beneficial. I will be a pro at assessments, lesson plans, have the developmental checklist memorized etc. all things a mother, aunt anyone with children should know. so if i can survive without burning the house down, the classes will be beneficial. the last months of pregnancy will fly by anyway.

Fun time

Our holidays were spent in Vancouver washington at my sister's Keri's house. we left the tuesday before Christmas and it was the best christmas ever!! My little family slept in until 10 am!!! we didnt have presents and i just brought stuff hunter already had for his stocking. It was awesome! Keri and her family did their christmas while we slept. We will enjoy the sleeping in on christmas morning while we can.
My other siblings came the day after christmas. It was my parents, my siblings and their kids for the first and last time in years. After this i have nieces and nephews going on missions, as well as mom and dad leaving again. it was 41 of us and there was always something to do.

Mom and Pappy had a fireside where they shares their mission experiences. That was a great chance to hear their stories and for them to express the love of the people.

Mom brought back a ton of african beads. after the fireside my nieces Hollie and Malia put them ALL on my nephew Brandon.

We went to this place in Portland called Fire on the Mountain where they make wings with the sauce you choose. Brad was in heaven. Afterwards we went to Papa Haydens which has dessert to DIE for!

New Years eve we had the best party ever. We made New Year's eve hats and it was fun to watch what everyone did with theirs. We also set all the clocks ahead so the kiddos think they are staying up until midnight. keri and Larry had just put in this amazing surround sound system downstairs. My brother Craig was the DJ and we had a great time dancing for alteast an hour. it was so much fun! Those kiddos have some great moves too!
