Gookie and stuff
My happy girl is back! After a week, she is finally feeling well enough to be back to her happy self! We are all so happy. She and Hunter are back to playing with eachother, she is back to dancing and laughing. I am so glad that she can go to the bathroom without pain! We go to the dr on Monday for a check up and to talk about a procedure being done at the hospital for her. We will know more Monday.
Hunter has been asking everyday to go to Auntie Celeste's house, my sister in California. We talked to them on skype earlier this week and everyday he wants to go there and go to the beach. We are going in July, so I told him we will go when it is HOt. SO everyday he asks if the sun is out because it is hot when the sun is out. For my sake, the sun hasnt been out for a week. Today i asked "is it snowing?!?" because it looked like flakes. Hunter said, "no mommy, its hot...let's go to the beach!!" He is definately a good mix of us. He likes the snow for Brad's sake and he wants to go to the beach just like me!! I am glad that he can know the best of both worlds. Snow and beach!
Brad's crazy schedule is actually great. Because our kiddos are young, and arent in school, we totally benefit. HE usually works 2-10 or something like that. So we have family time before he goes to work. When it was warm we were able to go to the park and today we went to McDOnalds for Hunter to play. It really is nice to be together. Brad is loving the job. He finds it fascinating, I am so glad that he is happy.
My blowdryer broke and had a couple of horrorific hair days! But i was able to get a new one last night and my hair is back to normal. I think this is also the first day I have put real clothes on before 3 pm!! I have been sooo tired all the time this week. I think it is the gray weather and my low iron. So i have started pumping iron, something i should always be doing but i slack off. Today I actually have more energy, so I guess it works.
Well Hunter has climbed into bed with Gookie. She just woke up from a nap and I can hear them laughing. Oops, she just made an angry noise. I better go check on it. Oh and Hunter is saying "Let's go to AUntie celeste's house!!" time and distance are hard concepts for a 3 yr old.

Update on Brooke
Okay so here is the story. Gookie started a fever on thursday. SO i thought it was her ears. We took both kids in on friday, hunter for his 3 yr checkup. In a year he has gained 14 pounds and 3 inches!!! He is in the 95th percentile for height and weight.
ANywho, Gookie's ears and throat were fine. The PA said that she probably had a virus, bring her back if needed. She continued to have a low fever and was still fussy while on tylenol and motrin. I thought that was weird. I thought maybe it was teething because she just COULD NOT be happy longer than 5 minutes at a time. Then Monday at noon she started to get a rash on her torso. I took her in and Dr looked at her for 5 seconds, said it was definately a virus and it would have to run its course and left. It was a different Dr. than when we went on friday. In my opinion, the PA was much more thorough.
SO she was been fussy everyday. Would only be happy for 10-15 minutes at a time. Then starting on Tuesday she would be playing and then start SCREAMING!!!! this happened all thoughout the day and as a result of the screaming she passes out 3 times!!! I didnt know what the cause was. I knew she was in pain, but didnt know why. I thought maybe it was constipation. SO we started apple juice. This continued onto Wednesday. It was horrible. She would be fine and start screaming. Last night I was giving her a bath and she started screaming again. I noticed that at the same time she was going potty!!!!!!! Poor baby! I just knew it was a UTI! So i took her to the E.R. because I knew the urgent care wouldnt be able to take her urine. They put this bag over her so that when she went potty they could collect some. I waited over an hour for her to go, then another hour for the results to come back. And i could hear that they were back, then another 30 minutes for the dr. to come in and tell me the results. It took the first two hours for Gookie to calm down and FINALLY go to sleep. The result, yes she has a UTI. ANd she probably has had several since she was born. Everytime i noticed her stinky urine which was several. But her own immune system probably fought them off he said. SO in a week I need to take her back to her pediatrician where they do something to make sure it hasnt gone into her kidneys. SHe is on antibiotics, I hope it helps to ease the pain and get rid of the infection very soon. I hate how she is screaming everytime she goes potty. 3 years ago today.....
Hunter was born! He was bright eyed and busy-tailed looking around and able to hold his head up! And he has been like that ever since! He has always been so fun to watch as he discovered the world as he played. I love listening to him play and what he says etc etc. He has always been happy and sweet. Hunter only cried when he was tired, gassy or hungry. He has always been easy going. All I have ever wanted was to be a mom and when Hunter was born I just couldn't believe it was true! I have felt that when I held both babies, such joy that they were mine, that I could hold them and raise them. PURE JOY being a mom. I love you Hunter boy!

Sick Gookie
Gookie has had a low fever since Thursday. We took them both in on friday. Hunter got his checkup and the dr. looked Gookie over. Not her ears, not her throat, bring her back if she isnt better. Well all weekend she was just cranky and had that low fever. SO we figured it was her teeth. Then today at noon she broke out in a rash. I took her in and it is a virus. He didnt give it a name and said there isnt anything we can do. It just has to "run it's course" Meanwhile she is just miserable! I want my happy little girl back! And i just want her to be feeling better too.

Birthday Party
Hunter and Gookie's bdays are only 6 days apart. They actually both had the same due date. No we did not plan it that way. So we family and friends to be coming, more than our place could fit. So we had it at the church.
