I have been having the wonderful back labor since yesterday afternoon. i hardly slept last night and i am surprised brad slept at all with me tossing and turning by his side. This afternoon it was really bad, 3 minutes apart and getting worse. So i went in and we thought maybe this was it. Turns out i am super dehydrated and that was making me go into labor. LAME! so other than being in pain and uncomfortable, thats pretty much it. Which is good because i have 4 weeks left to go. i dont know how i can even be dehydrated since i drink lots of h20. hmm. but maybe if i drink more i wont be in pain?
We had a beautiful spring saturday. We went to the park as well as everyone else in town. But alas, that weather is gone and it has been snowing the majority of the day. again i say LAME. and it has been the mildest winter in my 7 winters here, yet i am so ready for spring and especially summer.
Brad has an interview tomorrow for an internship at the Juvenile Corrections Center. i think he would really enjoy it there and would be so beneficial to them. we'll see what happens.
i feel like i am in my first trimester again in the fact that i am soooo tired. i am grateful to brad who willingly watches hunter while i crash for a nap and i am grateful to hunter who is back on a napping schedule so i can nap when he does when brad isnt home. naps are the best!!
i have pictures to post from our fancy pants camera. i just havent had time/ motivation to do so. sorry i am LAME!

Back in Africa

Mom and Dad flew back to africa yesterday. Before they left they stayed the weekend with us and i am so glad that they came. hunter definately knows and loves them. He follows Papa everywhere and when they would leave the room he would have to know where they were, "papa?" "mimi?" So we have the web cams all set up and this time around we will be able to see them when we call eachother. This mission is only 18 months rather than their 2 year one they just did. But still its long for me. But i know it will fly by, heck i'll have two kiddos to keep me busy. When they get home we will be getting ready to head off to grad school.
i am glad that they were able to come and visit and that we got to spend good quality time, even if we didnt get dresses, mom!
Tribute to brad who has to deal with a woman who has lost her mother again to africa. he has been so patient, loving and wonderful with me when i just break down and cry. Sunday he just held me and let me cry. What a wonderful man i married.

We love you Grammy and Papa!!!

3 years

The 18th is our 3 year anniversary. I cant believe it. so we tend to skip valentines day and just focus on our anniversary. Although brad cheated this year and got me a v-day card. I love our wedding pictures because we were freaking HOT and so happy. And now i think how we had no idea what would lay instore for us. it is hard to remember life before Hunter. What did we do? How boring our lives must have been. And here we are 3 years later, both of us graduating this year and baby #2 on her way in 9 weeks. We have definately grown closer these last 3 years. Bradley is my best friend and i love him so much. he makes me laugh so hard and he isnt even trying to. yes we are completely opposite, but because we are we balance eachother out. I tell you there is nothing as wonderful and attractive as watching the man you love become a daddy, and brad is the best daddy. he is also a great husband and is always trying to improve himself and is such an example to me. he is a worthy priesthood holder and that means so much to me. i LOVE him and i am so grateful that i married him!

So, the 18th is our aniversary. We have been married for 3 years. I know that alot of people reading this might not think that 3 years is a long time, due to the fact that they have been married longer, but it is a big deal to me. It means that I have had 3 wonderful years of life that I would have never known if I hadn't taken Ally fishing that beautiful saturday morning of June 18th 2005. While I do agree that we are pretty opposite on alot of things, I don't call it balancing out. I call it improving one anothers weak areas. For example, Ally has helped me improve my patience, love, parenting skills, and esspecialy my bad Idaho grammer and lack of culture. There is a cheesy line form a movie that actually makes a lot of sense to me. Love is not a feeling, it is an ability. Ally has helped me realize that When you love someone you don't just tell them, you show them. Ally has really showed me what love is these past three years and I hope that I can do better at showing my love for her.

It Passed

Yesterday Brad passed his kidney stone!! hurrah! alot of problems he was experiencing are now gone. He is acting so strange today, he is happy, almost giddy because he feels so good. How sad is that? he was just so miserable before, poor guy. i am so happy that he is feeling well. When he showed the stone to me i couldnt believe how small it was and yet it was causing so many problems for him physically and for us financially. Brad went to donate plasma and couldnt because he had morphine at the hospital and so he went today and because he passed it yesterday he has to wait a week again!! without that $50 a week we are suffering. pretty sad eh? But i would take brad's health over the $50 this week.

Whirlwind

I know everyone has life to deal with, it just seems like ours happened all in one weekend. It started last wednesday night at 10:30. i took brad to the ER. We were there until 3 am. he has two kidney stones and they told him he would pass them in an hour or a week. it has been a week and they are still in there. Thursday we left to go to Vancouver washinton for brad's great gma's 100th b-day. We got to vancouver friday. Her party was saturday and she passed away an hour before her party. She was able to see a big chunk of the family the day before and all her family was together. We drove home all day sunday and i dont think hunter or i ever wish to be in a car anytime soon longer than an hour!
Hunter had a fever for three nights in a row so he didnt get a lot of sleep and neither did we. i took him in yesterday and he has a double ear infection. Today he is finally perking up. I have been having my good ole "back labor pains" really bad these last couple of days and today was expecially bad. we just got back from the hospital and i am dialated to a one. so if it is like hunter, i have two more months of this pain and looks like dialating.
tomorrow i am the lead teacher for preschool. i always feel like death after that class. i am just so tired.
school is hectic, laundry is piling up and we have no laundry soap.

Positives- baby isnt being born at this time, american idol, warm baths, no more fever for hunter, naps on tuesdays, only two more days left of the week, i actually did my hair today and a warm house!

BIG FAT THANK YOU TO ZAK AND SAM WHO HAVE SAVED US TWICE. THEY CAME OVER AND SLEPT HERE WHILE WE TOOK BRAD TO THE HOSPITAL SO WE DIDNT HAVE TO TAKE HUNTER. ALSO, THEY WATCHED HUNTER THIS AFTERNOON WHILE WE WERE TO THE HOSPITAL FOR ME. I DONT KNOW WHAT WE WOULD DO WITHOUT THEM.

My dear Husband

We were able to go to Brad's grandparents cabin this weekend. Brad got a good day os snowmobiling in and hunter was able to play his heart out. Only to have to come home to a kitchen sink that is plugged and i HATE unpacking. especially when we are leaving again this weekend for Vancouver. Its brad's great gma's 100th b-day. Monday's are my WORST day of school. from 9 am until 5:30. I walked in the door yesterday and Brad had picked up the house and had dinner all planned. i gave him a big smooch!! i didnt even ask him, he just knew i needed it! It was so helpful and such a weight lifted off my shoulders. He's the best, my doodlebug, i love him so and appreciate his help.
