My garden

Having lived in Idaho now for 7 years, I have come to expect a rainy memorial weekend, snow in may and possibly june. That's just how it is. So this year I started my garden inside a couple of weeks ago and will plant them outside hopefully this weekend. I have tomatoes, squash, carrots, and pumpkins and for flowers I have lupines and sweat peas growing too. I cant believe how huge they are getting, and how much room they are taking on my counters. Yes, they will need to go outside this weekend.

My new Hobby

Thanks to my mother in law I am addicted!! We get together and we make jewelry! The "bead lady" as I call her just lives down the street from me. She has amazing things and for super good deals. I just went yesterday and got some stuff to make two necklaces. I talked to the "bead lady" and I can invite some friends/family for a couple of hours there and she will help us put necklaces, watches whatever together. Anyone interested? It's so fun!

Wednesday- a lazy day

Today was Brad's day off so of course he didnt want to do anything. Which I can understand. And that's what we did all day, nothing. We didnt even get dressed! It was nice for a while and then I really wanted out of the house. But that didnt happen. I made dinner and had just gotten it on the table when there was a knock at the door. It was the primary president giving me the manual and info for my primary class I will be teaching. The kitchen was messy because I had just made dinner and of course, I didnt have a bra on!! And when you open the door to our apartment you are right there in the kitchen. (why I want a house! but cant focus on that for now) So yeah, i should probably always put a bra on right?
So Brad has tomorrow off too and I want to do something out of the house! We'll figure something out.

A Beautiful day in the Adams' hood

Today was great! Got to sleep in until 10 thanks to a wonderful husband who didnt have to go to work until 1 and got up with the kiddos. When I woke up the sun was shining, the kiddos were happy and I didnt have a migraine at all!! So I cleaned up the house because it was a disaster from just one day being down and out. When I clean I love turning up good songs and singing along. SO we danced around a bit, opened up the windows to have fresh air and then the kiddos went right down for a nap. I got a litle nap too and then we went to the park! And Beth and Bethany came too. It was nice to be out in the sun (when it was shining) and to get out of the house. Then we came home and had dinner and we took Beth and Bethany to the bead lady. That's what i refer to her as, "bead lady" It is heaven!! I got stuff to make 2 different necklaces. This place is amazing. SO much fun. But I really need help to start the necklace, I am clueless of how to put it together. I will learn!!
Hunter was in heaven at the bead lady's house. Her kiddos were outside and Hunter had his boots on and was jumping in puddles. Then they went in the backyard where they have two lab puppies!! So i got to shop for beads and HUnter got to play. WHen he left, he asked to go back to "beeds!" but it sounds like "beez" .
The kids went to bed fast and without any tears!! And tomorrow and thursday brad has off!! YAY for good days! Makes me very excited for summer to come, whenever that will come!

Kiddos are both asleep..ahhhh

I guess there is something about my biological clock that wants another baby once the last baby turns 1. With Hunter we did get pregnant and then miscarried only to 3 months later get pregnant with Gookie! And it was really for the best. For a long while before she was even one, I did feel like there was another baby spirit making sure I knew that there was another baby. But it is definately too soon right now. I know there will be more babies, well I really hope so. I want to have as many kids as we can (physically, mentally and financially). And when the time is right, we will know. That's what is so great about having the spirit in your life. You get to hear little whisperings about everything in life and having a baby is between the dad, mommy and God.
So yes there may be a little baby waiting to come to our family, but it isnt time now. Some little helpful hints that the time isnt now, being without brad during sacrament meeting and having both the kids. Oh man. They arent bad, but its like things happen all at once. This last week I had to grab Hunter from escaping the bench and turn in time to catch Gookie from falling off the bench. Luckily a young woman saw my need for help and came and sat with me. Brad came from work a few minutes later. Also, Brad is working nights and it is a wake up call when I dont have him. Not that I cant do it, but I sure miss the other part of my tag team! Brad is so helpful when he is home, maybe I just took him for granted.
Today I have had a major migraine. I havent had one for a long time, so I wasnt used to the pain, it really took me by surprise today. My wonderful husband let me sleep most of the morning before he had to leave for work. I am just tired and hurting today. I feel like the worst mom ever! No fun, not chipper and I'm not singing today! It doesnt help that it is cold and rainy and I know we need out of the house.
But I did make sure to do a little family home evening and we did sing some songs there. ANd you know what, that felt really great! ANd tomorrow I hope i feel better and we can do something fun! Even if it is too cold for outside!!
So Hunter finally went down (not peaceably) at 10:30 and real housewives of new jersey is on (my guilty pleasure). Brad will be done with work in an hour and tomorrow is a new day.
