Last Day

Today is my last day pregnant and last day with it being just Hunter and me. Pretty crazy and exciting. I am being inudced tomorrow and we are so excited for her to come out. I wonder if i ever will go into labor on my own. i have all this back labor and contracting during pregnancy but have only been induced. I am not complaining though.
Thank you in advance to the friends who are willing to watch Hunter. We really appreciate it and wouldn't know what to do. Brad and i were talking last night how we know Hunter will be okay, espcially when he get's to spend the night with "auntie" sam and uncle "yak". it will be like a slumber party for him!! And then to spend the morning with "Auntie" Tanya and the love of his life, Hallie, he will be on cloud nine. Thank you Bethany for sacrifing your days to wath him. And to anyone else who will watch him if things change or whatever. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! You are all our family here in rexburg and we thank you for that.
SO we are ready! yesterday i went and bought some last minute items. Like a binky! Hunter came out with a binky practically in his mouth! he was just sucking on that thing all the time! This morning i will be cleaning everything, disinfecting etc. so that when i come home i have peace of mind and it is already done. then hunter and i will spend our last afternoon at the park!! YEA!!

Compare

So here are pictures of my Easter pregnant with Hunter and this last Easter. Kind of fun to look at the two pictures. Baby is just not dropping, and i am waiting for the warm weather to return so we can go outside and walk. Yesterday we went to the mall to walk around. It was actually a fun day with Hunter and then we came home and took a 3 hour nap!!! I sleep GREAT at nap time, its the night time that is hard.

2 year check up

Today Hunter went for his 2 year check up. Even though he wont be 2 for another 2 weeks, i wanted it done before baby comes. He weighs 31.5 lbs and is 36 inches tall. that puts him in 87% for weight and 90% for height!! And the Dr. said that his perpetual runny nose is from allergies, so atleast it isnt a cold.
So we have a very happy and healthy BIG boy! Hunter continues to be so much fun and saying more words and 2 word utterances everyday!

I am done with school!! a HUGE thank you for mom and dad who sent flowers, Momma Adams for coming and for Keri and family who rushed from Utah to be able to come and to my husband who was my support and encouragement. It meant so much to me. I loved what Brad said the morning of the last day; "For all the times you have fought against waking up to go to class, this is your very last day!" That really put it all into perspective for me. Never again! It felt great. I really enjoyed what the speaker said as he encouraged us to "Do good and be of good cheer". His name was Elder Walter F. Gonzalez. We ended up not going to commencement and sleeping in instead and enjoying our day with my sister and her family. It is still a surreal feeling for me.
I love this campus and University and have received an education on all levels. It has been an experience that has helped me be who i am today. PLUS i met Brad in a history class!!
I went to the dr. yesterday and i am dialated to a 2. Atleast SOMETHING is happening. He said baby is about 7.5 lbs and she really needs to drop. Hunter and i will be doing alot of walking this week! i got again friday and we will talk about inducing! we are ready for her to come.

Hunter

Hurray we have had a new camera for a while but i never took the time to get things ready to put pictures on the camera or to really learn how to use the camera. Too busy with other things. So here are some pictures and tidbits about hunter lately.
He has needed a hair cute for quite some time. That is why he looks like a rag a muffin in the majority of the pictures. Hunter is boy through and through. The other day he was wearing one snow boot, a tie and the easter basket on his head. i had to take a picture because that is what it is ALL about!

I have been having the wonderful back labor since yesterday afternoon. i hardly slept last night and i am surprised brad slept at all with me tossing and turning by his side. This afternoon it was really bad, 3 minutes apart and getting worse. So i went in and we thought maybe this was it. Turns out i am super dehydrated and that was making me go into labor. LAME! so other than being in pain and uncomfortable, thats pretty much it. Which is good because i have 4 weeks left to go. i dont know how i can even be dehydrated since i drink lots of h20. hmm. but maybe if i drink more i wont be in pain?
We had a beautiful spring saturday. We went to the park as well as everyone else in town. But alas, that weather is gone and it has been snowing the majority of the day. again i say LAME. and it has been the mildest winter in my 7 winters here, yet i am so ready for spring and especially summer.
Brad has an interview tomorrow for an internship at the Juvenile Corrections Center. i think he would really enjoy it there and would be so beneficial to them. we'll see what happens.
i feel like i am in my first trimester again in the fact that i am soooo tired. i am grateful to brad who willingly watches hunter while i crash for a nap and i am grateful to hunter who is back on a napping schedule so i can nap when he does when brad isnt home. naps are the best!!

I see the light!

4 weeks left and then i will finally have my BACHELOR'S degree! it will only have taken 7 years, a mission, getting married and nearly 2 kids later to do it! I can see the light at the end of this tunnel!
