That is seriously what we are doing, and it is also one of my favorite songs. I love Bon Jovi and atleast 6 years ago went with my sister and some friends to their concert and we had the best time. He is touring again and I am dying to go. And Bon Jovi, playing loudly, is Gookie's calming music while in the car. Hunter's was JAck Johnson and Gookie's is Livin' on a prayer. Without fail it works every time. I need to record it. But she will be screaming and then she will hear the first beats of the song and quiet down. Everytime Brad says "it's not going to work!" and when it does, well we are all happy.
New Years eve Zak and Sam came over and we watched Angels and Demons. I really like that movie and we had a good time. Buti sure missed making paper hats and having a dance party like we did last year with all of my family. Next year.
Gookie's top teeth are coming in and it is really kicking us in the pants. She is so miserable and cries all the time and starting last night has had a fever. I will see how tonight goes and if she still has a fever, make an appointment for tomorrow to make sure her ears arent contributing to all the misery.
HUnter has been on a Jungle Book kick and has been watching it like crazy. But today he has been playing and playing. I am glad that he can switch things up every once in a while.
Brad no longer has a job. He was doing early morning custodial while in school for the University. And since he has graduated, well he cant work for the University anymore. His sweet supervisor however let him work as long as possible so that will be very helpful when that paycheck comes. In the meantime, he has applications to all walmarts, wal greens and albertsons in rexburg and idaho falls. We are just praying something will happen and happen fast for the meantime. An income is an income and we need one! As mentioned in other posts, he has applied to real deal career jobs in every state except for the east side. So something is bound to happen.....eventually. We are more concerned about in the meantime. Before i graduated, in the University's paper there was a cartoon that said "Congratulations College Graduates", and it had students in their cap and gown standing in the unemployment line. That cartoon is too close to home and unfortunately true in our case. But we have been praying, and so has family members. We have done all we can. We truly believe that if we do our part, The Lord will do His part and in His timing. So we will keep on keepin' on and continue to go forward with faith. Like I said, we are seriously livin' on a prayer. Something will happen.

Shem was out of work for 9 months and man that is hard to deal with but it works out in the end. Remember even 9 months is a short time in the grand scheme of things, keep paying your tithing and the Lord provides! We'll pray for you guys, it's so not fun being in this situation but it's not going to be long! :)
Thanks for the Facebook note the other day! Good luck with finding a job, I really know how you feel! Just keep being as positive as possible and making your husband still feel like the man of the house! :) The hardest part of Clint's unemployment was keeping his spirits up. Good luck! LOve you too!!

Ally, your family is in my prayers. I can't imagine how tough it is for you, but especially for Brad. You keep on having faith and livin' on a prayer! Things will work out. Have you looked into anything in Vegas? We've got a friend who is a social worker, and he said that a lot of the case worker positions down here only require a Bachelors degree. You guys are amazing and the Lord is watching over you!!! Love you!!
