9 days in utah

So we drove to utah last friday, the 21st. this was the day mom and dad came home. we met everyone at the airport, they didnt get in until 10:20 pm. We were waiting there with our sign, the grandkids (those that were there) holding the sign and we were waiting and waiting. everyone kept telling us they were coming and they finally came!!! It is so good to have them home. Poor things are so off their sleeping schedule. the whole week dad could be found asleep on the couch at anytime during the day. So i didnt have to work at all so i got to stay all week. brad however left sunday morning and came back to utah wednesday, he had to work. Thanksgiving was nice and relaxing and it was fun to be together. This last week i saw twilight, james bond and just relaxed. it was great to be with my oldest nephew who is at byu-hawaii. it was just fun. brad was able to go to a jazz game with my brother and others in a box suite. Another higlight for me was Utah beating Byu.i was the only Ute fan in the whole family, and i must say i was persecuted. we got home sunday night. hunter missed a nap and was just a beast!!! Mom and Dad come to stay with us this saturday. This week they are in California visiting the siblings there that werent able to come to utah. Well tomorrow we found out what our baby is! any guesses?

Why i love You Tube

Those who have really seen me completely comfortable know that i will sing random songs. A trait i have inherited from my mother. If it is not a real song, i will make one up for the occasion. But when i do sing real songs, brad has no idea what i am singing and doesnt believe its a real song. this is when i turn to youtube. i have proven two songs to him. the first one was "mail myself to you". you know, "i'm gonna wrap myself with paper, i'm gonna stick myself with glue....." The other song was from an old disney short cartoon with the andrew sisters singing. Its about Johnny Fedora and Alice Blue Bonnet. "johnny fedora met alice blue bonnet, in the window of the department store....." so i found the whole cartoon and brad watched it with me singing along. it was great, to me anyway. Then we watched Lambert the Sheepish lion too! good ole you tube.

Trick or Treat

Usually i am all into halloween, decorations etc. It is my favorite holiday.But seeing as lately i have a struggle with even doing my hair and makeup, i didnt do too much. We didnt even get pumpkins which i know, its blasphemous! Reading Jaime's blog about the pumpkin patch sounded so fun though. Maybe we can go with them next year. I am glad they had a fun time. You really must check her blog out and see how beautiful their girls are. hunter loves averee, she is such a good cousin to him.

So for halloween what we did do was our annual party with berret and tanya, zak and sam and my niece Jocelyn gracing us with her appearance. seriously, she is single and gorgeous yet she is so good to come to our little gatherings. i had two
old roommates who have been home from thier missions for 5 months now, come over too. It was fun to cath up with them and stay up late and talk like old times. they are good friends. Bethany was actually there when i picked out my wedding dress, paper for the announcements and they were both there while brad and i were dating.

So Hunter was a lion, brad was a cook that had the ingredients for the bun in my oven. i was the oven. Zak and sam were the perfect Dwight K. Shrute and Angela, and Berret was a basketball player and tanya was the ball. Check out their blog for pictures of them and video of hunter.

We decided to take hunter trick or treating. Brad and tanya and berret stayed behind. they were tired. So we went to the HUGE houses up by the temple. Hunter was so funny and after the first house had it all down. it was so fun! thank you jocey, sam and zak for your help with trick or treating. i cant believe all they gave out was tootsie rolls though. we'll do better next year!!

One more month!!

My Momma and Pappy get home a month from today from serving as Public Affairs missionaries over all of west africa!! I can't wait!! they get to meet Hunter who they have talked to thanks to SKYPE. Hunter's favorite thing to do with Grammie is play "peek a boo". He is able to do that because brad's laptop has a web cam. I cant wait to have a big ole hug from the both of them.

However, in february, 2 months before baby is born, they are leaving to go back because they have been asked to serve another 18 months in the same mission. This breaks my heart and i know i am being selfish but this is really hard for me. So for now i am just focusing on them coming home, and ignoring the whole leaving again.

Miracles

Today has been the day of miracles. First brad got a job on campus, so after nearly 2 months of not having a job, and not having that income, he finally does! this will help out SOO much. Also BYU-Idaho's pharmacy had no problem getting the pills from wal greens. And when brad went to pick them up, the $300 wal green pills were only $39 at the school!!!!!!!! they are the exact same pills and dosage. PLus i get two refills!! When brad told me it was only $39 i started crying! Thank you for the prayers. They all seemed to be answered today!!

no fun

so saturday was my first day without any more pills. they are all gone. i dont get morning sickness, i get sick in the afternoon, which is when i am always working. so saturday at work i start getting sick like at 8:30. i threw up 7 times at work. it was horrible. the last time i totally wet my pants, not a little bit either. So now that has begun. There is nothing more humiliating then asking to go home because you totally wet your pants!! once i got home i threw up 4 more times. i couldnt even keep water down!! i finally stopped when i was asleep! sunday morming, 3 more times. i slept all day which was needed. my body was so worn out from the heaving.

so i have been thinking what the heck i am going to do. i cant live without them. truly. barfing non stop is NOT living! so today it came to me to try and have the prescription sent to the school pharmacy and that way i can get the pills, charge it to my account and have pell grants and loans pay for it next semester!!!!! that is really the only way to get some more pills. so tomorrow i am going to try and make it happen. for now, i feel like death. but atleast i have hope!!

Hunter Boy

My Hunter Boy is so much fun. he is full of personality, so sweet and so funny. The other night he was being, well himself, and i asked brad, "where did he come from?" and brad replied, "YOU!" Hunter loves animals and babies and he is so sweet. We are able to watch our nephew Austin every wednesday and hunter wont leave his side. This last week i asked hunter to give me the babie's blankies and he handed them to me. Every day he is growing up. When you ask him if he is ready for "night night" and it really is time for bed, he will sign "please" and then he is in his crib talking himself to sleep. It is so funny. we love our hunter boy so much and we are so thankful to be his parents. he will be the best big brother.
